When we emerge
From Intensive Care,
Realize we are still
Alive,
Begin the process
Of rehabilitation
We see that rehab
Might be
A renewal process
For most anyone.
When we awaken,
Find the world
Is still there
It is stunning
Beyond
Almost
Anything else.
