Spin

Sometimes it is so abundantly clear that God is in the room.  Like this time.  Sometimes one or two words of encouragement are enough to get someone to give something a second try.

God was in the room

When the man said:

This medication

Makes me feel different,

I took it two days,

Then I stopped.

God was in the room

When this came to me.

I said

Sometimes it*s possible

to pay too much attention

To something.

Sometimes it*s like getting caught in a spin,

A Tilt-a-Whirl maybe.

It*s hard to get off

On our own.

The medicine

Might help spin you out

Of the spin.

We had never met before.

Still

there was light

In his eyes.

I know God was in the room.

Let me give it another try

He said.

I*ll let you know.
