We have returned from Florida and I am off to see my sister in Santa Fe bright and early in the AM. Meanwhile... we arrived home to a mostly finished kitchen. The backsplash awaits. We had thought stainless steel tiles would look cool. Now we realize it would mean too much stainless in the kitchen. Now we think perhaps something along a Mexican tile theme might work. I will do research while I*m in New Mexico.

We are still minus one backsplash.
I am glad we waited.
